A little late this year, but I created a new vision board for 2026, thinking about what is going to be important to me this year. I believe in the power of putting into the universe what you want. I will achieve lots of growth and change as my year has already started off with finding out I am being laid off from my (awesome) government job due to government cutbacks. When I first heard, my heart broke a bit because, as I said, this job has been so awesome for me. Below is the vision board.

You can see doves being released to represent me releasing any and all burdens I had to endure last year. Then, we have someone meditating on the beach. My goal is to RELAX this year--chill out and meditate. The cat is that we hope to adopt a cat this summer. I lost my dog, Sweetie (aka: Sweatpants, Sweaty, Cray-Cray) this past year and with our daughter graduating from college this year and moving to Northern Virginia, we want a new pet by the summer or after. We have decided on a cat because our dog is pretty aggressive with other dogs, but not as aggressive with cats. The hyacinth bean vine is a reminder to plant my seeds again this summer. I love my yard and my plants. J and I plan to work on our relationship: as empty nesters, life has changed for us. With working less and having more time to be creative, I plan to make videos for my Youtube channel. Currently, my TeachersPayTeachers site has 500 followers which is fantastic. My YouTube Channel has 313 subscribers. I need to harness the power of these numbers to drive sales and to share knowledge! Very exciting! I also plan to do a lot more writing (blog posts are ideals) and beauty to enjoy dressing up and living each day to the fullest.
